Sydney Dragway appoints new General Manager

Sydney Dragway has appointed a Peter Beaumont as their new General Manager.

Peter has experience working in both corporate and professional sport, having spent the last 8 years working in the NRL as a General Manager (Commercial) at both The Cronulla Sharks and The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs. Prior to these roles, he held management positions at Tooheys Pty Ltd, Nike Australia, Yachting Australia and OzEmail Internet, running the sponsorship of their V8 Supercar Team.

Peter Beaumont, commenting on his new role “it is a great privilege to hold such a position, Sydney Dragway is a true multi-function facility, with all of the activity to benefit the sport of Drag Racing. The plans are in place to continue growing our great sport and deliver an exciting future”.

Joseph Rodriquez (Chairman Sydney Dragway) added, during the interview process, “Peter stood out due to his professional sporting background, with extensive experience in Sponsorship, Membership and signage programs. We look forward to Peter bringing his experience to Sydney Dragway”.
